Writers Work is something similar to Fiverr and Upwork, it is actually an online platform created for freelancers who want to learn how to write for others and make money.

You know, I am a blogger, and often times I get offers to write for some companies or individuals, they want great articles that will rank in search engines. That is why you need to know how to write good blog posts.

Definitely, the good thing about Writers Work is that you can find clients on the platform who need writers for their work and as soon you finish the tasks you can get paid.

You can find many writing jobs inside the platform most of which are:

• social media articles
• copywriting

Of course, every online platform out there has its pros and cons so the same case is with Writers Work. Unfortunately, many people are not satisfied with this platform, and actually, many call it a scam so make sure to stay till the end to find out why is this the platform you might want to avoid.

Writers Work works pretty simply, it is something similar to Fiverr and Upwork and those sites where you can work as a freelancer.

When it comes to the jobs they are not bad but you must pay attention to the date the job was posted because I have found that some jobs were posted a long time ago and were not active anymore.

On the other hand, I saw that earnings are not big at all, you will have to do many jobs before you can earn a high income, it’s similar to Fiverr.

Writers Work is not free, if you want to join this online platform you will need to pay for some plans they offer, you have monthly and one-time plans.

This freelance platform is not expensive but I don’t like the upsells that can add up and literally suck out your money.

So, if you plan to invest in Writers Work you will need to pay $47 for lifetime access or you can start paying $15 per month. Of course, this one-time payment is more affordable and it is not expensive at all.

I recommend that you use a monthly plan for the first time just to test the website and see if this is for you or not.

When it comes to the upsells, yes, you have them and I don’t recommend paying for them because you will literally waste your money.

The first upsell is $99, which is including a one-to-one 30-minute writing coaching session and a Freelance Writers Toolkit.

The 2nd one is a 30-page freelancer’s playbook eBook that costs $29.

The last one is two extra video courses that cost $99.

As you can see it can easily add up and suck your money so I recommend that you first test the platform with a monthly plan before you end up buying these upsells.

When it comes to the refund Writers Work does offer a 30-day money-back guarantee but I see that many people complain about getting their money back so you must be cautious.

Is Writers Work a Scam?

Based on my research I can say that Writers Work is a scam but not totally. When I say scam I primarily mean that it does not work as they promise and most of the time, people are not getting their money back if they are not satisfied with the platform.

I am always doing research on Trustpilot before joining some platform or company online, it is a great site where you can read REAL reviews by people who have experience with the platform.

So, based on people’s reviews and their experience I can say that Writer’s Work is a scam that should be avoided, if you want to work as a freelancer you can go to Fiverr or Upwork and start there without any risk to waste your money.

Honestly, no. There are definitely better alternatives than Writers Work that can help you start your freelance carrier.

This online platform has good training and you can find some job listings but the problem is that in most cases you are not going to get hired and you will lose time and money while being active on the platform.

It would be a much better option if they offered a free trial so you can test the platform and see if it is for you or not. Writers Work is not an expensive platform but you will find many upsells that can cost you more than $200 and in my opinion, it is not worth it.

Keep in mind that people are not satisfied with this platform, you can go to Trustpilot.com and see for yourself. If you want to work as a freelance writer the better option is maybe Fiverr.

Sure, writers Work have a good basic training on writing and maybe you should check that but other than that I would suggest that you avoid it so you don’t lose your precious time on it.
